About Michael

Michael’s clients consistently benefit from the strong values and work ethic he honed during his years in the U.S. Navy and transportation industry. Michael has built his career and team around the concepts of full-transparency, creative problem solving, and exceptional service.

Originally from Upland, California, Michael moved east to attend the renowned United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. After an intense four-year training that included sailing on international cargo ships for two years, Michael graduated from USMMA as both a licensed merchant mariner and a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy. Upon graduation, Michael worked in the commodities and bulk shipping industry for 7 years. After his time in the Navy and working as a commercial ship broker, Michael started his real estate career in Manhattan, NY. Michael has over 12 years of real estate experience, and built one of the fastest growing real estate teams in New York City before moving to Orange County.

Michael is now a Partner of the Private Client Group OC at Compass, consistently a top-5 real estate team in all of Orange County, with over $2.5Billion in career sales. 

In his free time, Michael loves to explore new restaurants and cuisines. He is very active and loves to ski, snowboard, surf and play ice hockey. But most of all, Michael loves to volunteer at his Church, Mariners Irvine, where he is part of the worship team and high-school ministry. Michael mentors 11th graders in the Youth Group, and co-leads a young professional's Life Group.

 

As an advocate for the local community, more than 10% of Michael's gross earnings from every sale will be donated to local 501(c) charities, supporting youth and foster programs, struggling families, and anti-human trafficking organizations.
